Indigenous DRR at the UN Global Platform, Geneva.

This year's Global Platform on DRR in Geneva saw an Indigenous 'Side Event' organized by myself and John Scott, with support from Melanie Mark-Shadbolt (Director of the Maori Biosecurity Network in Aotearoa NZ), Madeline Redfern (Mayor of Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada), Dr. Ciro Ugarte, (Pan American Health Organization), Pavel Partha (Bangladesh Centre of Indigenous Knowledge) and Todd Kuiack (Indigenous Emergency Manager, Canadian Federal government).
